Composite Tooling Services was developed by the Re-Steel team to manage, catalogue and repurpose tooling assets from the composite structure industry.
CTS offers low-cost tool storage freeing valuable space within customer facilities as well as Conversion Services to maximize value of tooling assets.

Tools are entered into program
CTS collects, catalogues and transports tools free of charge to our secured, climate-controlled facility.
Tools are stored in warehouse
Tools are managed and cataloged at locations close to the customer to provide support. Working with the Boeing Company, CTS has reduced the cost of overhead and management of tool storage by over 70%.
Evaluation of tool
Tools can be returned to the customer, transferred to a new location for use or converted into plate. Conversion of under-utilized tooling assets offers maximum value back to the customer.
Conversion
CTS manages the breakdown of tools and the conversion into low-cost materials. Our history and the 20-year Invar tooling contract with the Boeing Company has given us insight into the capabilities and equipment required to cost effectively convert tools. During this process, the customer retains ownership.
Customer secures low cost plate
Low-cost material available to customer’s tooling contractors creates an equal playing field. CTS invoices the tooling contractors directly creating positive cash flow benefits to the customer. Materials converted though CTS have a cost 50% below market price.
